This itinerant seminar offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience focused on the strategic and operational aspects of digital transformation management. Through a combination of site visits to leading organizations, expert lectures, interactive workshops, and real-world case studies, participants will gain a deep understanding of how businesses across various sectors are navigating the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
Overview of digital transformation as a strategic, managerial, and organisational process; observation and analysis of real-world transformation initiatives through site visits, case-based exploration, or practitioner-led sessions; digital maturity, organisational readiness, and transformation drivers; innovation management, organisational change, and leadership in digitally evolving environments; adoption of digital technologies in different sectors and institutional settings; challenges related to culture, resistance, governance, skills, and stakeholder alignment; practical frameworks for analysing transformation strategies and implementation pathways; comparative reflection across cases and contexts; development of preliminary transformation roadmaps and critical discussion of success factors, barriers, and ethical implications in digital transformation management.
