The syllabus of the elective course is determined by the selected offering at the host or partner institution and must be relevant to the scientific field of the MSc in Digital Transformation Design and Management. In all cases, the course is expected to cover an advanced thematic area related to digital technologies, digital culture, digital innovation, digital governance, data, interaction, design, or socio-economic aspects of transformation. The syllabus should introduce key concepts, theoretical frameworks, current debates, and/or applied methods in the chosen area, and provide students with opportunities to engage critically with specialised content through study, analysis, discussion, design, research, or project-based activities.
The exact emphasis depends on the specific elective selected. In all cases, the course is expected to contribute to some of the following:
- Search, analysis and synthesis of data and information, with the use of the necessary technology

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
